Try the Meghan Markle Pasta! She doesn’t really give an exact recipe, but after watching what she does, here’s my writeup of her Single Skillet Spaghetti Recipe: 1. Bring 3 1/2 cups water to a boil in a tea kettle. Meanwhile, slice 2 cups cherry tomatoes in half. Add them to a skillet along with 3 cloves minced garlic. Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. 2. Add 1 pound spaghetti to the skillet, and then cover with the zest of 1 lemon. Chop the stems of 2 to 3 pieces of Swiss Chard or Lacinato Kale and add them to the skillet. 3. Add the boiling water to the skillet, cover, and then cook over medium-high heat for about 6 minutes. Remove the cover, then the leaves of your chard or kale, loosely chopped. Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, until the pasta is al dente. 4. Remove from the heat and add in a pinch of red pepper flakes, 1/2 cup arugula, and 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan. Toss together and serve.
I have been vindicated!! Mug Lasagna - it really works! Please know that this is not one of my most cherished recipes, so I take no offense if people don’t like it!
I need your Disneyland expertise! I have tried to do my research but there’s so much conflicting information out there. These are my questions: 1. Should we do the Park Hopper? We only have one day so I don’t want to cram too much in. 2. Will be meet characters walking around or do we need to reserve something? 3. Should we grab dinner wherever we can find a place or should we make a reservation? Thank you!!

I had no idea how intense the Meghan hate was until I posted my video! I understand if she’s not your cup of tea, but I don’t understand how upset people get with her. In any event, in my opinion she did not steal her recipe from Martha Stewart - they share some similarities but use lots of different ingredients. As a recipe developer, I’m always coming up with new ideas that build off of classic Italian-American ingredients. That’s what my new cookbook, Italianish, it all about: modern twists on classic Italian flavors (you can preorder it today wherever you buy your books!). Even if Meghan was inspired by Martha’s recipe, she changed it enough to make it her own. You can try Martha Stewart’s recipe yourself and see: Martha Stewart One-Pan Pasta Recipe 1. Combine 12 oz linguine, 12 oz cherry tomatoes, 1 sliced onion, 4 sliced garlic cloves, pinch of red-pepper flakes, 2 stalks basil, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 4 1/2 cups water in a skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat. 2. Cook until the pasta is al dente, about 9 minutes, stirring frequently. 3. Serve with salt, pepper, basil, olive oil, and Parmesan to taste.

Confession Time: I’ve been dreading today. I love cooking, I love writing recipes, but I am not a natural salesperson. I really don’t love having to promote myself or drum up orders, but obviously that’s part of the process when you write a book. You may have seen my other posts, but today my cookbook Italianish officially went on sale for preorder I have worked so hard on this book for so long, so it’s very nerve-wracking to finally announce it! If you hear me talk about preorders a lot, that’s because they are a major part of publishing now. How many people preorder Italianish will determine how many copies are printed, how much attention it gets, and how many bookstores it ends up in. So if you think you will get the book, I would be eternally grateful if you preorder early! Italianish is all about taking classic Italian-American dishes and flavors and putting new spins on them for today’s world. There are quick-and-easy versions for weeknights, one-pot recipes for simple cleanup, and creative takes to keep dinner fun. It has everything from appetizers through dessert; I hope these recipes will inspire and enrich you, and I hope you love them as much as my family does!
Pink Peppercorns are not actually related to black pepper, but are in fact dried berries. However, they have a similar, slightly milder, flavor to black pepper and so I love using them in cacio e pepe!
Kate Middleton Stovetop Mac and Cheese Recipe! This is based solely on her comment that she makes a cheesy pasta with her kids, and they put in flour, butter, and milk. I don’t know if this is how she does it, but this is my easy stovetop Mac and cheese recipe that comes together quickly. I always use some cheddar, but you can also add Gouda, Fontina, Colby, Mozzarella, or others if you’d like! 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook 1 box of pasta. Drain and set aside. 2. Melt 3 tbsp butter in a large pot over medium heat, then whisk in 3 tbsp flour. Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then add a 12-ounce can of evaporated milk and 1/4 cup whole milk. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a teaspoon of Dijon. 3. Let this cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, then add in 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese and 8 ounces Gouda. Add the cheese in a small handful at a time, mixing after each addition and letting it melt before adding more. 4. Once all the cheese has melted, stir in the cooked pasta and serve.
