We went into this round knowing that if we had zero or only one, I would need to go straight into another retrieval cycle in the hopes of having at least two for future transfer attempts. But 😭😭😭🤍🤍🤍!!! THREE. We have THREE. Last round, we had one single viable embryo, which resulted in a devastating miscarriage and brought us back to square one. And here we are now, with THREE potentially viable embryos, and I know one of those is my space baby! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating the supportive space for me to share this journey in real time… both the good and the bad and the anxiety in between 🤍🤍🤍 I have a lot of phone calls to make next week to figure out potential timelines and next steps but for right now, I’m celebrating!!✨

As soon as he’s home today we’re going to open the report. I’m going to take the rest of the day to process the results and I promise to share them with you tomorrow. I’m in a good headspace and have a plan forward regardless of outcome: if we have at least 2 healthy embryos to freeze for transfer attempts, we celebrate!!! If we have just one or no healthy embryos this round, we take a deep breath and gear up for a final egg retrieval round next month. 🫶

so fitting that Mother’s Day weekend is when I find out how many embryos we have from this egg retrieval. Cautiously optimistic! 🫶

…like wdym we grew up an entire continent apart, found each other, and built a life together? Surreal.

Genuinely mind blowing if I think about it for too long. Life can be so wonderfully strange, and I can’t wait to see the next chapter of what the universe has in store for us. Soaking up our final day in Bavaria ❤️

Tomorrow I’ll find out how many fertilized, and next week I’ll find out how many made it to blastocyst. 🤍

Let the showings begin….! So bittersweet. I’m so excited for our new chapter and feel like everything is finally unfolding in such a promising direction (especially with our IVF results!) but I’m also reminiscing about how many beautiful memories we created in this home, and how much love and care I poured into remodeling our small slice of paradise 🌴🤍🏡I hope it finds a family who loves it as much as we have.

but what if it doesn’t? 🤍 that’s the mindset I’m cultivating ahead of transfer next month. Doubt everything in my power in the meantime to get myself in the absolute best possible shape: mentally, physically and emotionally. 🫶
