Cheesy Ham Potatoes🍖🧀 Obviously make in an oven proof dish unlike me so it can be done in one pot but this is a great addition to your meal rotation, add peas or spinach before it goes in the oven for extra goodness🤎 Serves 4 Ingredients • 1 Large Onion • 6 Cloves Minced Garlic • 4-6 Potatoes • 1-2 Tbsp Wholegrain Mustard • 1 Mug of Chicken Stock • 300 Ml Single or Double Cream • 150-300 Grams Ham • Handful of Cheddar Cheese • Handful of Mozzarella Method 1. Add onions and garlic to a pan and soften. Once softened add in your cubed potatoes. 2. Add your mustard, stock and cream and add the lid allowing the potatoes to simmer for 20 minutes (and the oven to heat up at 200°C). 3. After 20 mins add your ham (and any veggies) and sprinkle cheese on top. Pop it in the oven for 10 minutes. Tuck in🧡 #onepotdinners #weeknightdinners #cheesypotatoes

One of the best things Jake and I do for our relationship is our ‘Date Days’ so every month we alternate whose turn it is to plan something. This month was Jake’s turn and he took me for a beautiful Steak and Wine Lunch at one of our new favourite places @pasture_birmingham We treat the date days like mini birthdays where it’s their day and we just spent the whole day together enjoying quality time. After steak and wine we came home and actually had more red wine with the rugby on and a few games of scrabble. It was so lovely and defo something I recommend doing with your other half. It means we both make effort outside of day to day mundane tasks and it’s a chance to spent quality time. So I have 6 dates a year to plan and he has the other 6! They don’t always have to be going out either, some of the ones we have done: - Painting Halloween Pumpkins (Jake got me a Boo basket and we stayed in watching movies, having wine and painting pumpkins) - I got gifted a beautiful Orchard Cabin Hut Weekend away so I treated Jake to that weekend and some dinners while we were there - one month we were shattered and just ordered fish and chips, and movie snacks and had a movie night in It’s defo personal but a really lovely thing to start with your other half🤎 #dateideas #datedays #comeforlunchwithme
