One time in A-level biology class, our teacher made us all sit in boy, girl and I was furious I didn’t want to sit next to him. She forced me to 🙃I then realised with time, he wasn’t too bad and was the funniest and kindest guy I’d ever met. We were each other’s firsts and telling our parents was a journey in itself - as we are both from different cultures, I’m Pakistani and he’s half Iranian and half English. My dad never imagined me to be with an English munda (boy). But at 22 we got married, went through a tough pharmacy career together, battled infertility, had our adorable babies, built a 7-figure business from zero, bought our dream house.
