My husband needed a spot to grill, and we didn’t have one—so we made one. 💁‍♀️ We laid down pavers on a diagonal, tossed in some pea gravel, locked it all in with landscape glue, and added potted plants for a little charm. It’s giving backyard barbecue with a Euro twist—and it cost less than $300. Knocked it out in a weekend. This was one of the best decisions we made in our home! We never used this formal dining room, we have a huge kitchen island and a casual dining room off the kitchen that we eat at, so this space was just wasted. Now that it is our home office this space is used everyday! We made a wall to wall built-in using ikea Billy bookcases, wallpapered this beautiful mural on the other 3 walls and enclosed it with metal and glass french doors. We did this project over time and I’m so happy with how it all came together!
