Feeling veryyy vulnerable posting this tbh girls but we all fam here, so today I was looking through my camera roll and found these clips from the start of 2023 when I was in my 8 month long bulking phase, only trying to build, eating whatever I wanted which was all very low quality foods and honestly just trying to find myself and who I was at the same time. I don’t even recognise the girl in the first clips to be honest but I guess we all have those phases in our life that have passed us by and you’ve kinda forgot who that person was because the version of you now is so different not just physically but mentally?? I’m also so thankful to this past version of myself for allowing me grow, become confident in my own skin, become resilient and honestly a much more self assured person with no need for others opinions to change the one I have of myself. As we near the new year, I want to remind you that even though you probably have all these goals/resolutions and you may go into them head first with no sustainability in mind, you are right where you need to be in life and in your fitness journey and you’ll reach your goals in time, it’s a marathon not a sprint so don’t rush into things❤️ Thankyou for being with me during all these phases of my fitness journey and right now I’m in my favourite yet with self confidence, food freedom, fuelling myself with nutritious foods and listening to my body❤️ #transformation

My dream glute day and how id structure it! 1. Starting with hipthrusts and RDL’s as they’re both compound movements, which means they target more than one muscle at a time and require the most energy to complete which is why I put them first when my energy stores are highest. Hipthrusts work the glutes in their shortened position and RDL’s work the glutes in their lengthened position, and if you want maximum glute gains, it’s important to include these two differing movements in your workouts! 2. I go into unilaterals after my compound movements always as they still require a lot of energy but not as much as compounds and they’re very important to help reduce imbalances as much as possible and really put a lot of focus and tension on one side of your body at one time! I saw so much growth when I started prioritising these more often! 3. I include isolation movements last these usually look like either glute kickbacks, step ups or hamstring curls for a more hamstring focused isolation. These require the least amount of energy and exertion and are a good way to get an extra burn and pump in at the end of your sessions!
