Training Your Back like An Athlete We’re big fans of bodybuilding and like to include moves that train the back from an “optimal” hypertrophy standpoint in a variety of ways. But, we also make sure we train the back in an athletic way as well that may be perceived as less “optimal” from a bodybuilding standpoint. Moves like rotational rows or single leg stance rows, ballistic moves like power cleans, and stability drills like farmer carries are all ways we like to sneak in some exercises that are a bit neglected in typical bodybuilding programs but have a ton of merit. It helps us to feel strong, powerful, and explosive!
