When I was first diagnosed with PCOS, I thought the harder I pushed myself at the gym, the better. I was doing intense cardio and HIIT workouts almost daily and wondering why I felt exhausted, bloated, and wasn’t losing any weight. 😩 What I didn’t realize was that those high-stress workouts were spiking my cortisol and making my insulin resistance worse, not better.
